MRR (Master Resell Rights) means the right to resell the product and also gives the buyer the right to resell it. This differs from regular Resell Rights and simple usage rights as follows:
- You can use the product yourself
- You can resell the product to other customers
- You can give your customers the right to resell the product
Example: You have an e-book with MRR rights. You can sell it to a customer at your own price. The customer can also resell the same e-book because they received MRR rights from you.
Please note: You are generally not allowed to modify the product without separate permission unless it is also accompanied by PLR rights (Private Label Rights). An MRR product may have sales conditions or license restrictions that specify, for example, in what form and at what price the product can be sold.
Summary: MRR rights give you the opportunity to earn multiple times from one digital product, because your buyers can also become resellers. This makes it a popular model, especially in digital product sales and building passive income.
PLR (Private Label Rights) means that you get the rights to modify the product and publish it under your own name and brand. This type of license is very flexible and gives you the following rights:
- Use the product yourself
- Resell the product
- Edit the content freely (text, layout, title, graphics, branding)
- Publish the product as your own product, with your own name and logo
- Even grant MRR or Resell rights (if the license allows)
Example: You have a guide downloaded with PLR rights called "10 Tips for Digital Entrepreneurship". You can edit the title to "How to Build a Strong Brand Online", change the appearance to a black-pink-turquoise style, add your own examples, brand and contact information, and sell it as your own product - no one will know that it was originally PLR.
When you purchase a digital product, such as a guide, workbook, or e-book, that includes a customizable Canva template, you’ll receive an order confirmation and a PDF file with a link to the template in your email. Here’s how to easily personalize your product:
1. Open your email and find the PDF file.
2. Click the link that takes you to the Canva website.
3. Log in to your Canva account or create a free account.
4. Select “Use template” and create your own version of the template.
5. Edit the content freely: add your logo, brand colors, change fonts, text, or images, and delete or add pages.
6. Save and download the file (e.g. as a PDF or PNG) from Canva when you’re done.
Tip: The free version of Canva is enough for basic editing. If the template contains premium elements, Canva will notify you and offer alternatives. If the link doesn't work or you need help, please contact us - we're happy to help!
